By downloading, installing, or using JKInsight ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all users, including but not limited to browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Application.
⚠️ Critical Notice - Tesla Non-Affiliation: JKInsight is an independent, third-party application created and maintained by developers NOT affiliated with Tesla, Inc. This application is NOT endorsed, approved, or supported by Tesla. Your use of JKInsight indicates you understand and accept that Tesla does not approve of this application and that Tesla provides no warranty or support for it.
JKInsight is a premium mobile application that enables users to monitor, track, and analyze their Tesla Powerwall energy storage system in real-time. The application provides historical data comparison, performance analytics, and system status monitoring.
JKInsight is offered as a paid application. By purchasing or downloading JKInsight through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you agree to pay the applicable fees displayed at the time of purchase. Payment will be processed by Apple or Google, depending on your platform.
Refund policies are governed by Apple's App Store or Google Play Store policies. Once you have downloaded and accessed the app, you understand that the product is not returnable according to applicable app store policies. Please review the respective app store's refund policy before purchasing.
Upon purchase and payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use JKInsight for personal, non-commercial purposes on your device. You may not:

Your use of JKInsight with Tesla's Powerwall API is also subject to Tesla's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not control Tesla's services, and any issues with Tesla API access are the responsibility of Tesla. We assume no liability for Tesla API unavailability or changes.
JKInsight currently functions by accessing Tesla's public API. However:
You acknowledge and accept that: Using JKInsight means accepting the risk that Tesla may change their API at any time, potentially making this application unusable. We are not responsible for maintaining compatibility with Tesla's services.
JKInsight relies entirely on Tesla's API to function. If Tesla discontinues, modifies, restricts, or rate-limits API access, JKInsight functionality may be affected or become completely unavailable. We are not responsible for Tesla API limitations, rate limiting, service interruptions, or any changes Tesla makes.

Your use of JKInsight is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully. We collect only technical data necessary to provide the monitoring service, and we do not store your Tesla credentials. Your Powerwall data is stored securely for historical comparison purposes.
JKInsight, including all text, graphics, logos, images, software, and code, is the exclusive property of JKInsight and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
JKInsight IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JKInsight regarding your use of the application. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
JKInsight may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Your continued use of the application after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
JKInsight IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, APPROVED BY, OR IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TESLA, INC. The following points are critical:
Current Status: JKInsight currently functions and successfully accesses Tesla Powerwall data through Tesla's API.
Future API Changes: JKInsight functionality is contingent on Tesla's API remaining available and unchanged. If Tesla modifies, restricts, or discontinues their API:
No Guarantee of Continuous Service: By using JKInsight, you acknowledge that the application may become non-functional at any time due to Tesla's API changes, and we are not liable for any losses resulting from such changes.
Support & Technical Issues: For issues with your Tesla Powerwall system, contact Tesla Support directly. For issues with JKInsight functionality related to API changes, contact us at the email below. Please understand that we cannot fix issues caused by Tesla's API modifications.
