2. Information We Collect

2.1 Authentication Information

When you log into JKInsight, we process your Tesla account credentials to authenticate and access your Powerwall system data through Tesla's API. We do NOT store your login credentials. Your credentials are only used temporarily during the authentication process and are then discarded.

2.2 Device Data Collected and Stored

We only collect and store specific technical data from your Powerwall system for the purpose of historical comparison and trend analysis:

• Battery software version
• Battery capacity and state metrics
• System performance data (power flow, charge/discharge rates)
• System status and operational parameters
• Historical snapshots for comparison purposes

2.3 Device Information

• Device model and operating system (for compatibility purposes only)
• App version you're using
• Crash reports (if error reporting is enabled)

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

The following information is NOT collected or stored:

• Your Tesla account credentials or login information
• Personal identification information beyond your Powerwall system data
• Location data
• Browsing history or user behavior tracking
• Marketing or advertising data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected Powerwall system data exclusively for:

• Displaying real-time and historical Powerwall system data in the app

4.1 Where Data is Stored

8. Account Deletion

If you delete your JKInsight account, all data associated with your account (including Powerwall system history) will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

9. Children's Privacy

JKInsight is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of JKInsight constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
